If your plastic shows a Recycle if Clean and Dry recycling sign, it is recyclable. Another way to check if you can recycle your plastic is if your plastic stretches when you pull it (recyclable) or if the package is shiny or makes a crinkly/crunchy sound in your hand (recyclable).
We DO NOT recycle any plastic that is contaminated with food or other residue, including the following types of plastics: frozen food bags, candy bar wrappers, chip bags, net or mesh produce bags, degradable or compostable bags or film packaging, pre-washed salad mix bags, pet food bags, hot dog or meat wrap packaging, PPE-gloves, masks, or protective wear, silage and hay bags, backyard ice rings, vinyl shower curtains or tablecloths, bedding, shiny or crinkly films like floral wrap, pool covers, lamination film.
If your plastic film tears like paper, it is not recyclable!
