Detailed landscaping plans for the Micron Center for Materials Research between W University Dr, Belmont Dr, and S Manitou Ave are included in CPF_CHarrette_2018-01-18 sketchup rendering alongside details for the Central Receiving Building. Details below, but essentially just follow the sketchup.
- The rear parking lot will be replaced by cement patio, sidewalks and green space
- Trees will be installed facing University Dr and in the front entry area
- Trees will be installed along the north-south on the west side of the building, between MCMR and the Recreation Center
- Trees will be installed along an east-west sidewalk between just north of the existing small building on the south end of the lot (the Art Annex)
- Two existing small buildings will remain on the southeast corner of the lot (visible in Google Maps and on sketchup rendering). Trees will be installed between these small buildings and the east wing of the MCMR.
- Trees will be installed in the rear interior courtyard of the MCMR, along the central north-south sidewalk, and along the west-facing side of the east wing.
