Visitors should park in the lot at 550 Lone Pine Road and check in with the Dean's office in Hoey Hall.
It is easy to imagine the formal dinners that were once held in the Cranbrook Dining Hall after a glimpse of the dark wood paneling, tall backed chairs, and stunning Arts and Crafts light fixtures within. Eliel Saarinen designed every element of the Dining Hall, from dishes and silverware to peacock andirons and furniture, and George Booth placed a wrought-iron Clock of the Handicrafts at the front of theroom as a reminder of the many art forms that influenced the creation of Cranbrook. Although there are no longer waiters, grace before every meal, or after-dinner coffee for seniors and faculty in the Page Hall Common Room, the hall is still a beautiful place for students, faculty, and staff to gather beneath the magnificent leaded glass windows and share a meal.
