Limited visitor parking is available at 550 Cranbrook Road, with overflow parking at 652 Cranbrook Road, or, in the case of large events, at Christ Church Cranbrook.
All visitors must check in at the Brookside Main Office. Walk south on Cranbrook Road and make a left into the 550 Cranbrook Road parking lot to enter the front doors to Brookside below the tower. The Office is the second door on the left, just before the staircase leading down.
From the main entrance, turn right and follow the hallway past the Jock Denio Library, bearing to the left as it follows the outside of the lunch room. Continue around the corner as the hallway makes a right, and go down the small set of stairs as the hallway bends to the left. Walk to the double set of doors at the end of the hallway to enter the Meeting Room.
The Meeting House was the very first Brookside building. Constructed in 1918, it was originally used as a center for social, instructional, political, and religious gatherings for the community until 1922, when it became Brookside School. Decorated with Arts and Crafts murals and anchored with a large stage, the Meeting House is used today for special student performances, meetings, and activities. The first additions to the meeting house form a row of storybook cottages along Cranbrook Road and are decorated with stained glass windows that depict Mother Goose characters and child-like representations of music, dance, geography, drama, and mathematics. These spaces are used as classrooms today.
