The program was established in order to meet the needs of motivated students with a strong academic record. The program offers honors sections of transferable general education and major preparation courses that provide an enriched curriculum, seminar-based instruction, close interaction with honors program faculty, and special projects and activities. Honors courses strengthen students’ college transcripts and increase their chances for transfer to four-year institutions.
