   1. Central Heat Plant

      Two projects:

       

      • Central Heat Plant Building, 04/01/25-08/24/25: The Boise State Central Steam Plant Boilers and infrastructure are reaching end of life. These boilers serve 25 buildings around campus through the heating season. 
      • Steam Tunnel Exterior, 03/17/25-08/24/25: (This project is campus-wide and will extend outside of the marked area) The Boise State Central Steam Plant Boilers and infrastructure are reaching end of life. These boilers serve 25 buildings around campus through the heating season. Additionally, the underground tunnel system has some structural deterioration that needs repair. This project will replace the central plant equipment with modern boilers and infrastructure as well as repair the structural deterioration of the tunnels.
