This interdisciplinary International Spring Term course is developed through collaboration with UIndy's Health Professions, the School of Business, and UIndy Athletics to focus on engaging female student athletes (in the particular academic majors) to travel abroad and participate in a cultural service immersive experience. Projects will include a cultural festival and coordinating summer sports camps for schools in rural areas of the island, with the purpose of exposing girls to the possibilities of career and athletic development in sports through college. In addition to the service-learning experiences students will visit several universities and learn about study abroad programs in Cyprus.
