Hartke Theatre is Catholic University’s hub for performing arts. The 600-seat theater is the showcase for numerous performances ranging from musicals to drama, from comedy to experimental theatre.
The theatre and the Hartke Theatre building are named for Rev. Gilbert Hartke, O.P., who founded the University’s Department of Drama in 1937.
