The campus center is the hub of student life. On warm days the plaza in front of the building becomes a hive of activity and music (including an occasional live bagpipe performance). During cooler months students enjoy the building's open spaces, where they gather with friends, conduct meetings, or study. The campus center also houses the post office, student mail boxes, and numerous offices, including Campus Operations, Office of Student Leadership & Engagement, Residential Life, and Macalester College Student Government.
