Alternative Fuel Vehicles
Over the past 6 years, Facilities Management has purchased six Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) vehicles, 13 electric vehicles, and 128 E-85 capable vehicles (85 % alcohol & 15% gasoline) for a total of 147 alternative fuel vehicles which is roughly 45% of our entire fleet. In addition, Grounds and Waste Management has purchased several lawn mowers that run on cleaner propane fuel.
