Gallery of the Common Experience

Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday 8am-5pm
The Gallery of the Common Experience showcases art exhibits relating to this year's Common Experience theme. In the past these exhibits have included artwork meant to provoke thought on the definition of Chicano identity, photo depictions of apartheid South Africa during the onset of AIDS, and political cartoons of President Lyndon Baines Johnson. The gallery also hosts special events throughout the year including free art workshops, artist talks, and public art events on the Quad.
