        Department of Anthropology
        The Department of Anthropology is part of the College of Liberal Arts at Texas State University. The department averages about 325 undergraduate majors and 50 graduate students. Our 19 full-time faculty members offer a wide variety of courses and projects to support our departmental mission and educational goals, including local research projects or field schools in Texas, Mexico and Belize.

        Department of Geography
        The Department of Geography has one primary objective: our students’ success. We are committed to providing a rich educational experience, a solid foundation in geographic thought and knowledge, state-of-the-art training in geographic techniques, and extensive career support services. We offer undergraduate, masters, and PhD degrees with a wide-array of courses taught by over 30 full-time faculty members, numerous specialized adjunct instructors, and a team of dedicated graduate assistants.
