Department of Health Administration
The School of Health Administration has demonstrated excellence over the last 30 years, including assembling one of the best HA faculties in the nation. The HA faculty have both educational preparation and the real-world experience necessary to maintain credibility with students, employers, and alumni.
Department of Health Information Management
The BSHIM leads to the RHIA (Registered Health Information Administrator) certification and prepares one for jobs in a variety of settings and positions. HIM is a field that combines an interest in healthcare with technology and management and is predicted by the Bureau of Labor Statistics to be one of the fastest growing occupations with competitive salaries and varied employment opportunities.
Department of Radiation Therapy
The Radiation Therapy Program is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT). The professional curriculum incorporates didactic and clinical elements and basic sciences that are reflective of contemporary practice in radiation therapy. Content and structured learning experiences develop attitudes and learning outcomes that prepare graduates to demonstrate a commitment to patient care and continued personal and professional development. The program is guided by the American Society of Radiologic Technology (ASRT) Radiation Therapy Professional Curriculum.
School of Social Work
The School of Social Work offers both the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW), which prepares students to engage in generalist social work practice, and the Master of Social Work (MSW), which prepares students to engage in advanced specialized social work practice using a generalist framework. Both these degree programs are fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
