Sound Recording Technology
Texas State University was the first university in the state, or the entire southwest, to offer a baccalaureate degree in sound recording. In addition to participating in commercial recording sessions while pursuing their degrees, Sound Recording Technology majors have access to several computer labs, digital editing stations, electronic music labs, and well equipped audio labs where they work on projects typical of those confronting professional audio engineers.
