Albert B. Alkek Library is the most important information resource of the Texas State University community. We are open to the public and visitors can drive to and park at our building. Visitor computers are available on the fourth floor to access resources such as the library catalog, databases for finding articles, and the web. You can also bring your own laptop and connect to the wi-fi, but databases are only available on library visitor computers.

Alkek Library is also home to The Wittliff Collections, which include the Southwestern & Mexican Photography Collection as well as the Southwestern Writers Collection, both jewels of central Texas.
