A project of the university's Engineering program, the UIW LEED Platinum Solar House incorporates the latest in sustainable building practices, including solar and rainwater capture, as a student project. The designers are currently seeking LEED certification for the project, which certifies a building is constructed with the most modern sustainable practices available.
