      This building houses the Admissions Offices, the College Counseling Offices, Modern Languages classrooms, the entrance to the dining hall, and dorm rooms.

      Dr. Minot Savage was the Director of the American Unitarian Association. Mrs. Hackley and he became friends and when she sought his counsel, he suggested creating a college preparatory school for boys.

      It is named after Dr. Minot Judson Savage was a well known Unitarian minister. He was pastor of the Church of the Messiah (now named the Community Church) in New York City. He wrote many books including The Religion of Evolution (1876), The Morals of Evolution (1880) and The Evolution of Christianity (1892). Another book, Living by the Day (1901), was given to each boy at school by Mrs. Hackley.
