The longest tenured faculty member in Hackley history, Randy served for 46 years. Randy’s gargoyle surveys the Science Courtyard. He is shown holding a rock hammer, a tribute to his first love, Geology, yet surrounded by bronze stars representing his passion for Astronomy. The Clingens [Upper School teacher Kerry and her husband Eric] pointed out that Randy McNaughton always wore his glasses on his forehead, so that was integrated into the design.
