      1. Carver P.E. Center

The Roy J. Carver Center for Physical Education is used for Augustana's athletics, including intercollegiate basketball, volleyball, wrestling and swimming, as well as for most of Augustana's physical education classes.

The field house holds 1,900 fans and the pool area seats approximately 800 fans.

Named after Roy J. Carver, whose gift made its completion possible, the center also houses the physical education faculty, coaches and athletic directors offices.

The Carver Center seating was reduced to 1,900 from 3,200 in summer of 2008, when it was renovated with new bleachers and chair-back seating on the north side of the gym.

The old scoreboards were also replaced with a center-hung scoreboard. In the summer of 1991 the original caramel colored tartan was pulled up and a new wooden floor was installed. That wooden floor was resurfaced in the summer of 2000 and again in 2011.
