        The Texas A&M University College of Engineering has expanded to McAllen, Texas. Our McAllen degree options are uniquely designed and specially tailored to meet the expected engineering needs of engineering in the Rio Grande Valley. The programs of study allow students an opportunity to have a unique impact on the growth and development of their home communities without leaving the region to pursue an engineering degree from Texas A&M University.  

        Students in the Engineering at McAllen program are in the College of Engineering. Students in this program have the option of pursuing the interdisciplinary engineering degree in McAllen or relocating to College Station to pursue one of 18 degrees.

        Being an Aggie is being part of a worldwide network of Texas A&M graduates who follow the Aggie core values, hold the Aggie spirit in their hearts and have committed their lives to the well-being of each other and service to others above self. Students at the Texas A&M University Higher Education Center at McAllen will be part of the Aggie family.
