      The Mitchell Institute for Fundamental Physics and Astronomy is one of the two stand-out buildings renowned architect Michael Graves designed for the physics and astronomy departments at Texas A&M. This building is noteworthy for the Physics and Astronomy Teaching Observatory, a 60-seat classroom with a 16-in h telescope housed under an 18-foot hydraulically operated dome.
