    1. John F. Scarpa Academic Center

      • The John F. Scarpa Academic Building was built in 2018, and renamed after Scarpa in 2019.
      • The building has three floors.
        • On the first floor is a security desk, a food court, and the Fannie Lou Hamer Event Room.
        • The second and third floor consist of classrooms, study rooms, labs, and faculty offices.
      • The Fannie Lou Hamer Event room is named after Fannie Lou Hamer, a civil rights activist from Atlantic City.
      • This room comes with chairs, desks, podiums, a platform stage, projectors, speakers, and iPads, all of which can be removed or rearranged any way so that the room can transform into a specific layout for each event.
      • Both Stockton and outside organizations host events here like meetings, galas, conferences, presentations, and lots of Stockton student club events!
      • The upper levels have all the academic rooms, such as classrooms, labs, and faculty offices.
      • Each classroom holds about 30-40 students, but our average class size at Stockton is only about 25!
      • There are also iPads, laptops, and charging stations available to use as well.
      • Any Stockton student can take classes at the Galloway or Atlantic City campus, but the main courses taught in Atlantic City are social work, marine biology, hospitality, education, psychology, and other general courses.
