The open grass and recreation area north of Walker Hall is known at Pomona as Walker Beach. On our many sunny days, you’ll find students studying in the sun and playing basketball and volleyball. Walker Wall, a flood break wall turned public forum, runs along the northern edge of Walker Beach and gives students a free speech zone for expressing themselves in paint.
