Helen R. Walker Hall, built in 1953 and renovated in 1999, faces Honnold Library and Walker Beach to the north. It houses 112 residents in mostly singles arranged along two main hallways, as well as singles and two-room doubles in the Walker Wings, which have outside entrances in small courtyards. Walker Hall is home to the Women's Union and The Student Life newspaper.
