Wiecking Hall is one of 29 campus buildings and apartment complexes being mostly heated and entirely cooled using underground geothermal wells. Some building clusters optimize efficiency in peak-use and low-use times through flexible exchange systems. Geothermal provides 40% of Skidmore’s total heating and air-conditioning.
