      The dining hall takes sustainability seriously. Dining Services emphasizes local and sustainable food purchasing and has strong connections to many local growers and producers. In 2015, Skidmore became the first liberal arts college in New York to achieve the Marine Stewardship Council's (MSC) Chain of Custody certification, ensuring the MSC fish being served on campus is truly coming from sustainable, well-managed fisheries. The Dining Hall also provides a pickup area for members of the Saratoga CSA (community supported agriculture).
