    1. Student Leadership Center

      The Student Leadership Center serves as a centralized connection point for students, staff, and faculty to access leadership opportunities on campus and in the greater Alfred community.

    2. Hinkle Memorial Library

      Hinkel Memorial Library
      Housed on the ground floor: Computer Help Desk, Office of Marketing Communications, and Technology Services

       

       

    3. Hunter Student Development Center

      Hunter Student Development Center
      Houses the Student Success Center and the Commuter Lounge, English & Humanities department, tutoring.
       
    4. Engineering Technology Building

      Hands-on learning is a cornerstone of Alfred State’s culture and a key aspect of the Engineering Technology building. Boasting nearly three miles of corridors, the structure features program-specific classrooms, labs, studios, the Bret Llewellyn Art Gallery, a Nano Technology clean room, a Mac lab, and the largest lecture hall on campus.

      Houses departments of Architecture and Design, Digital Media and Animation, Computer Information Technology, Civil Engineering Technology, and Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Technology.

    6. Orvis Activities Center

      Orvis Activities Center houses Pioneer Athletics, gymnasium, Cappadonia Auditorium, pool, strength and conditioning center.
    7. Print & Mail Services

      Students who live on campus pick up all letter mail and packages from the Mail Center and have been assigned a mail code number (MC#). Students will keep this MC# for the entire time they live on campus, even if they change residence halls. Students can find their MC# by logging into Banner, going to their Personal Profile, and then viewing their address tab. Their MC# is toward the bottom of the screen under the heading Mail Center.

    8. EJ Brown Hall

      EJ Brown Hall is associated with numerous academic programs such as accounting, financial planning, business administration, and court reporting.

      FACILITIES

      • High-tech classrooms – These settings are equipped with up-to-date electronic equipment. Computer technology has been integrated into course content.
      • Court and realtime reporting laboratory – This lab is equipped with computer-aided translation equipment at every student workstation. All students receive hands-on instruction using computer-aided translation (CAT) equipment. This real-time translation skill enables the graduate to take advantage of closed-captioning employment opportunities.
       
    9. Braddon Hall

      Braddon Hall is a traditional corridor-style facility. All rooms open to a hallway and each floor is divided into wings with lounges. A limited number of single rooms are available in mid-campus.

      Every residential lifestyle option except "24 and Over Lifestyle" is available in the mid-campus area.

      Braddon is located across the street from Central Dining Hall. It is unique in offering same gender on each floor. Braddon Hall has large study and recreation lounges. All accommodations in Braddon Hall are double accommodations.

      Room dimensions are 14'9"x 13' and windows are 6'7"W x 4'H.

       

    10. Main Gate A

      The Main Gates feature suite-style accommodations. Suite-style accommodations allow residents to live in close proximity with friends and classmates.

       

      Every residential lifestyle is available in Main Gate A and B except for “24 and Over Lifestyle.” "Twenty-four and Over Lifestyle" is available in Main Gate B only.

       

      The Main Gates are located near downtown Alfred, Central Dining Hall, and the Pioneer Center.

       

      Room dimensions are 14' x 10'6" and windows are 4'6"W x 5'H.

    12. University Police

      The University Police department at Alfred State conducts vehicular, bicycle, and foot patrols 24-hours a day, 365 days a year on campus and in the residence hall areas.

      Fresh Market & Café, Pioneer Pizza, grab-and-go convenience store

    14. Central Dining Hall

      Students expect choices on where, when and how they dine. The Dining Services team at ACES works hard to deliver meal plan choices that fit every budget, appetite and taste bud. Our dining options offer fresh fare and tasty treats from home-style all-you-can-eat to familiar brands to local treasures.
    15. Agriculture Science Building

      The Agriculture Science Building contains laboratories specializing in soils, botany, and animal anatomy and physiology. A 5,300-square-foot greenhouse produces hydroponic vegetables, edible flowers, and herbs. The greenhouse also contains a tropical room, desert room, and plant propagation areas. Allied Health Department contains a medical imaging suite for diagnostic medical sonography and radiologic technology.

    16. Physical and Health Sciences Building

      The Physical and Life Sciences and Nursing departments are located in the Physical and Health Sciences Building. Four science-ready lecture rooms are on the first floor with eight laboratories found on the second and third floors for the biological sciences and the forensics science technology programs. The laboratories are outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment and instrumentation, anatomic models, and up-to-date application software for teaching and learning as well as for independent study and research.
