    1. Cliff Walk/40 Steps

      A Newport classic! Visitors would be remiss if they came to Newport and missed out on this 3.5 mile public walkway overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Experience what makes living a stone's throw from the ocean so wonderful. You can access the Cliff Walk from most of Salve Regina's buildings on Ochre Point Avenue.
    2. Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge

      Located between Sachuest (Second) and Third beaches, Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge is an important stopover and wintering area for migratory birds. This is a great place to see some of New England’s native creatures in their natural habitat, using the refuge's ocean-hugging trail network.
