Half of all UIndy students are enrolled in health programs, and the demand continues to grow.

The Health Pavilion is a state-of-the-art facility equipped with leading-edge medical technology, including a Nursing Sim Lab and innovative hi-tech equipment like the Anatomage Table. Combined with expert faculty instruction, it is home to multidisciplinary teaching, learning and research.

Community Health Network, in partnership with UIndy, operates a health clinic here that serves the local community, providing students with clinical experiences and facilitating research, particularly on the issue of health disparities among various populations. It’s also a relationship that leads to career opportunities for students after graduation. Indeed, many alumni from UIndy hold leadership roles in the Community Health Network hospitals and clinics.

The research conducted by faculty, students and partners informs discussion and policy-making locally, nationally and internationally and allows the University to expand our high-demand undergraduate and graduate programs in the health-related disciplines.
