    3. Sease Wing

The Sease Wing is where you can find:

      • President Dr. Tanuja Singh’s office

      • Grady, our live greyhound mascot, who has his own office on the second floor where he conducts his very important business meetings.

      • The Sease Wing also allows you to see the 24/7 study lab, which is available at all times for any late-night study needs!

    4. Krannert Memorial Library

Whether you’re catching up with friends or focusing on your studies, the Krannert Memorial Library is the perfect hang-out location. The first two floors are for quiet speaking levels while the third floor and basement are completely silent zones. Stop by the Perk to fuel your studies with a coffee!

    5. Cory Bretz - First-Year Residence Hall

Cory Bretz is one of three first-year residence halls here on campus. They all have common areas with different activities and seating for students to hang out. In your residence hall room, you’ll find a closet, desk, chair, and bed. You are allowed to bring a microwave, mini-fridge, and even a Keurig, just no hot plates or open flames.

As for doing your laundry, there are laundry units located in each residence hall building, and completely free for students to use! Just bring your own detergent and dryer sheets. Parking is another free amenity at UIndy. You just fill out a form each year and BHAM, you have a free parking pass!

    6. Martin & Lilly Hall

Martin and Lilly Halls are both academic buildings.

Martin Hall is home to the Math Department and hosts some of our music classes. The Math Tutoring Lab is also located on the second floor of Martin. Pretty much every academic department has its academic lab that is free and available for students to utilize.

Lilly Hall is our science building, which is home to the Biology and Chemistry departments. Science laboratories are located throughout the building including the Archeology and Forensics Laboratory. You will also find two greenhouses and an observatory on the top floor of Lilly Hall.

    7. Smith Mall

Smith Mall is the main green space located in the center of campus. With the canal running through its center, Smith Mall serves as a tribute to downtown Indy being the Circle City! On nice days, students love to sit by the canal or on a blanket in the grass. A lot of outdoor events happen here as well!

    8. Schwitzer Student Center - first floor

The Schwitzer Student Center is the main hub for student life on campus. The first floor has a variety of different food options, the main one being our Ober Dining Hall. The dining hall is set up buffet style and offers halal, vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free options. You’ll also find all your favorites including freshly made pizza, pasta, made-to-order international selections, a salad bar, baked desserts, and soft-serve ice cream.

An alternative to the dining hall is Streets, which is a food court also located on the first floor of the student center. Streets consists of Streets Grill which serves burgers, chicken, and fries, Fiesta which serves  Mexican fare, and Hanna Garden, our vegan/vegetarian option that serves salads and wraps.

Other important features of the first floor of the student center include the UIndy Bookstore, the Greyhound Express Grab ‘n Go, and the Perk.

    9. Schwitzer Student Center - second floor

The second floor of our student center has a bunch of different helpful offices that are nice to utilize during your time as a UIndy student, as well as our REC center.

      • OIE: The Office of Inclusive Excellence, or OIE, is committed to ensuring equal opportunities and a welcoming environment for all campus members.

      • Pro Edge: The Stephen F. Fry Professional Edge Center, or Pro Edge deals with jobs! If you’re looking for an on- or off-campus job or need help making a resume, this is the office to go to. The career suite next to this office offers a variety of business casual clothes, suits, dresses, and scrubs that students can borrow for FREE! They even do the dry cleaning!

      • Student Affairs: The Office of Student Affairs handles many different matters, such as residence life, housing and meal plans, commuters, student activities, and volunteerism.

      • The Phil and Janet Terry Center for Campus Connections: Campus Connections is almost like the help center at UIndy! Any questions about anything, someone will be here to connect you to whomever you need to talk to.

      • CAPS: The Center for Applied Health and Performance, or CAPS, is UIndy’s fitness center. Open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekends, CAPS has a variety of equipment for students to use. Think of it as a free gym membership!

    10. Schwitzer Park

Schwitzer Park is located behind the student center. With sand volleyball, outdoor basketball, corn-hole, gaga-ball, a firepit, and picnic tables, Schwitzer Park is a perfect place to play games, hang out with friends, or study outside.

    11. Ruth Lilly Fitness Center

Ruth Lilly Fitness Center is home to our swimming diving, volleyball, and wrestling teams. Both the volleyball court and the swimming pool are open and free for students to use as long as our teams aren't practicing! Join one of the many intramural or club sports we have to get involved with campus life!

    12. Nicoson Hall

Nicoson Hall is where our main basketball court is located. It’s old-school and very retro, meaning it's got a lot of awesome memories and insane school spirit! All athletic events are FREE for students to go to! Making it easy to come support your greyhounds and show your UIndy spirit!

    13. Health Pavilion

The Health Pavilion, or HP for short, is home to our Health Science-related majors and most importantly, Sushi Boss! Another (very popular) food venue for students. The Perk III  is here as well. The HP is also home to our on-campus Health, Wellness, and Counseling Centers which offer free services for students.

Schools and programs housed in the Health Pavilion include:

    14. Roberts Hall - Upper-Classman Residence Hall

Roberts Hall is an upperclassmen residence hall. Similar in style to our first-year residence hall rooms, but the main difference is the restrooms. Upperclassmen residence halls are suite-style, so you’ll share a bathroom with your roommate and the room next to you! Roberts Hall also has some of our LLCs (Living Learning Communities). These are floors designated to common interest groups, including students within certain majors. Check out our LLCs to see if one interests you!

    15. Good Hall

Good Hall is another academic building and home to the Shaheen College of Arts and Sciences. The average classroom size here at UIndy is around 17 students, which helps build close connections and relationships with your professors. Our student-to-faculty ratio is about 11:1. Good Hall is also the oldest building on campus. First built in 1904, it used to be the entirety of the university! We've expanded just a little bit since then.
