The Science Center is part of the original Bay Road campus, which opened in the fall of 1967. It contains biology and chemistry labs, faculty offices for the college’s Science and Humanities Divisions, classrooms, and the Bowen Laboratory (Greenhouse), which was added to the south wing of the building and was named in honor of the late Gary Bowen, a college trustee.
