      1. Josephine Evans Memorial Chapel

         Evans Memorial Chapel is one of the University of Denver's most beloved landmarks. 

          

         University of Denver founder John Evans, built the small chapel in 1878 on DU's original campus in downtown Denver. In 1958, it was disassembled brick by brick and then reassembled in the center of DU's "new" campus.

          

         Used as a place of worship by religious organizations on campus still today, it's a favorite wedding site for University alumni and students.
