    1. Berry College Elementary & Middle School - Hamrick Hall

Hamrick Hall was built in 1923 by students under the supervision of Grady Hamrick to replace the classrooms in Cherokee and Pine lodges. Hamrick was twice gutted by fire - in 1955 and 1972. In 1973, it was completely rebuilt and air-conditioned, with classrooms, laboratories, offices and an auditorium. Hamrick Hall now houses the Berry College Elementary & Middle School, the Charter School of Education and Human Science's K-8 lab school, a lab school providing college students with firsthand experiences through observations and guided teaching experiences.
