    1. Bat Condo

Erected in 2014 to accommodate a colony of big brown bats displaced by the renovation of Anderson Hall, the 4-by-4-foot bat condominium may eventually provide a home for 4,000 bats. When inhabited, the condo will provide numerous research opportunities for students. And as bats are an important insectivore, their presence means less mosquitoes and unwelcome bugs on campus.
