Before running onto Honaker Field, all Fighting Scots football players stop at Legends Rock to touch a bronze helmet that sits atop a granite base inscribed with the words "commitment," "honor," "team" and "pride." The monument was dedicated in 2008 in memory of former player and assistant coach Cody Bowers '04.
