The ECOS Community Garden, founded more than ten years ago, is comprised of over 70 plots (garden beds). It covers approximately one acre of land generously provided by SOU. The garden provides a safe and nurturing place for the practice of sustainable, organic growing methods; builds community based on cooperation and shared responsibility for what we all hold in common; and contributes to the education and food security of SOU students and the community.
