The mission of the Swarthmore College Peace Collection is to gather, preserve, and make accessible material that documents non-governmental efforts for nonviolent social change, disarmament, and conflict resolution between peoples and nations. Its growth reflects the spread of the peace movement (c. 1815-present) in the U.S. and around the world.
