      About Palmer Hall:

Palmer bridges the campus and the town of Swarthmore. Just a quick walk from the athletic facilities, the shops in the Ville and the train station, Palmer provides a quiet and "homey" environment for 31 students who live in a mix of doubles and singles. Palmer has a spacious kitchen and lounge that is shared with the connected dorm Pittenger. Residential life is a significant part of the Swarthmore experience, with 95 percent of the students living in college housing. All of the College's dorms house a diverse mix of students of different class years. Most first-year students and sophomores live with roommates. During junior and senior years, most students live in single rooms.
