      1. Carter Gym

Built in 1953, Carter Gymnasium was named for Harry Clifton Carter, former president of the Board of Trustees and textile manufacturer.  With seating for only 947 spectators it was the second smallest arena for a Division I NCAA school when Campbell’s athletic teams moved over to the John W. Pope Jr. Convocation Center in 2008.

Today, the building serves as home to Campus Recreation, with a basketball court, workout room and aerobics room.
