Central Plant Renewal
Boise State’s Central Plant, which provides steam heat for much of campus, relies on boilers well beyond their normal useful life. They are approximately 60 years - or roughly 35 years past their typical replacement schedule. This project will modernize the plant and accomplish various sustainability goals. Throughout 2021, a committee will be creating a roadmap for future Central Plant operations, work that should directly guide this project.
