    1. Banks Hall

      Banks Hall Banks Hall is a one-stop shop for student services. The first floor houses Admissions and the Schug Conference Room. On the second floor is Financial Aid, the Registrar’s Office and Business Office. The third floor includes offices for the President, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Vice President for External Relations and Vice President for Finance and Operations. Originally built in 1963 as the college’s library, it was completely renovated in 2009 when the new Frank and Laura Lewis Library opened.
    2. The Chapel

      The Chapel

      The materials used in the construction of the Chapel in 1965 link it with Christian worship in LaGrange and other parts of the world. Included in the structure are two stained glass windows made in Belgium more than 100 years ago; a stone from the temple of Apollo at Corinth, Greece; a stone from the Benedictine Monastery in Iona, Scotland; and a stone from St. George’s Chapel in Windsor, England.

    3. Hawkes Hall

      Hawkes Hall

      Hawkes Hall is a traditional, community style residence hall for freshman females. Hawkes features hardwood floors and high ceilings in each of its double-occupancy rooms on the second, third and fourth floors. Each room comes equipped with wireless internet and cable television. Free laundry service is available in this building on each floor. The first floor houses Education Department classrooms and offices.


      Boatwright Residence Hall, located on the north side of campus, is reserved for incoming freshman men.

    4. Smith Hall

      Smith Hall

      Smith Hall is the oldest building on the campus. Dating back to 1860, the main portion of the building was constructed of handmade brick formed from native clay. An addition was built in 1887, and a major renovation was completed in 1989 at a cost of more than $2.5 million. The building now houses offices, classrooms and seminar rooms, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

      The main floor of Smith Hall is home to all Student Engagement offices: Student Housing, Campus Life, Religious Life, Counseling Center, Center for Leadership and Career Development and the Vice President for Student Engagement.

    5. Lewis Library

      Lewis Library

      The Frank and Laura Lewis Library includes individual and group study rooms; a 24-hour study center with a coffee and snack bar; an auditorium; a multi-media classroom; a media lounge with digital cable and Blu-Ray player; student and faculty research carrels; and state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment. Students have access to video and audio conferencing, three SMART boards, video-editing equipment and software, camcorders, two scanners, presentation projectors, document cameras, digital signage, a Skype room, laptops and headphones available for checkout, SMART clickers, and a portable projector.

    6. Hudson Lab Sciences Building

      Hudson Lab Sciences Building

      A state-of-the-art, 40,000-square-foot facility, the Lab Sciences Building houses laboratories for instruction in anatomy/physiology, biology, chemistry, ecology, immunology, microbiology, organic chemistry and designated space for undergraduate research.


      The facility incorporates “soft” learning spaces and community areas for students to gather, compare notes, study or socialize. The spaces also allow students to interact with their professors outside the classroom, providing the architectural infrastructure for transforming, nurturing relationships.

      The laboratories provide graduates pursuing careers in research, medicine, allied health fields or sustainability, firsthand experience using best-practice instructional methods and current technological innovations.

    7. Hawkins Hall

      Hawkins Hall

      Completed in 2002, this apartment-style hall houses 124 students. Arranged in either two- or four-bedroom floor plans with one bathroom per two students, the apartments are fully furnished and have full kitchens.

    8. Price Theater and Lamar Dodd Art Center

      Price Theater

      Renovated in 2013, this building features a 280-seat proscenium theater with 36 fly lines, eight electrics (including four beam positions over the auditorium), and a hydraulic orchestra pit. It also houses the Theatre Arts program, including faculty offices, a scenery workshop, dressing rooms, a costume shop, an actors’ lounge, classroom, and the Lab Theatre.

      Lamar Dodd Art Center

      Fully renovated and modernized in 2011, this building provides a physical environment and the equipment needed for art instruction as well as gallery space for the college’s outstanding art collection. The building is named in honor of the late Lamar Dodd, a Georgia artist who grew up in LaGrange and whose paintings won international recognition.

      Art and Design students can earn degrees in animation, ceramics/sculpture, painting/drawing, photography, marketing design and art history/museum studies. 

    9. West Side

      West Side

      Formerly a Troup County magnet school for the arts, West Side was purchased in 2014 and extensively renovated to house the college’s Nursing, Music and Digital Creative Media and Film programs.

      The nursing wing includes two simulation rooms, three skills labs with hospital beds, two high-fidelity and five simulators.

      The music wing houses a 150-seat recital hall, live recording studio and rehearsal space for chamber choir, percussion ensemble and marching and concert bands.

    10. Callaway Education Building

      Callaway Education Building

      The Callaway Education Building (CEB) is the home of Panther Athletics. The building houses Richter Gym, Exercise Science Department, SPEED Center, athletic training, football, lacrosse, men’s soccer, women’s soccer and offices for the volleyball coach, athletic director, athletic programs coordinator, strength and conditioning coordinator and sports information. It also includes a weight room and football locker room.

    11. Callaway Auditorium

      Callaway Auditorium

      Originally designed as a multipurpose venue, the facility was transformed in 2005 into a state-of-the-art concert hall. It is home to the college’s official orchestra in residence, the LaGrange Symphony Orchestra, and hosts a range of musical and cultural events. The hall boasts superb acoustics and seating for 750.
