    1. Camp Susque Climbing Wall

The Camp Susque climbing wall came to Camp Susque in the Spring of 2015.  It was originally built in 2001 at nearby Camp Lycogis (a now closed Girl Scout Camp).  The wall was originally built in the honor of Lauren Day, a young woman who passed away after a battle with Leukemia.

Camp Lycogis closed in 2007 and the property was sold to a local business who donated the wall to Camp Susque.  The wall was torn down and reconstructed at Camp Susque and inspected by the organization that built it originally.  Friends of Susque contributed time, finances and supplies to the project, and a ribbon cutting to "open" the wall occurred in the summer of 2015.  Lauren Day's parents and many past administrators from Camp Lycogis were in attendance - all pleased to see the wall fulfilling its purpose once again.

The wall currently has two faces, with around 30 feet of top-roped climbing.  Reaching the top gives a great view of the Seeling cow-pasture next door and rappelling down is a thrill!
