    1. Hemlock Hall (Dining Area)

Hemlock Hall, named after Pennsylvania's State Tree (several of which are located right next to the building), is the main Dining area for Summer and Winter Camps.

It also serves as a meeting and recreation area for retreats, rentals, conferences and even homeschool classes.

The first floor contains a beautiful brick fireplace, meal seating for up to 180 guests, a stage, and a commercial kitchen complete with walk-in cooler.   Hemlock Hall is equipped with a PA System as well as LCD Projectors and Screens for video presentations or power points.

Hemlock Hall's porch is a favorite place to relax in an Adirondack chair while watching camp activities or the mist on the mountains in the mornings.

The basement contains Susque's Rec room, which has Ping-Pong, Carpetball, another brick fireplace, and several seating areas for relaxing and fellowship.  Additionally, the basement also houses Susque's Pottery Shop - a complete pottery studio with a large kiln.

Plans are currently being made for a modest expansion of the dining hall that will provide better service for Susque's guests while maintaining the rich history that the building contains.
