      2. Hursey Center

        Hursey Center The University of Hartford's Francis  X. and Nancy Hursey Center for Advanced Engineering and Health Professions will be opening in fall 2021. The 60,000-square-foot academic building, situated at the center of campus, houses new, specialized, and technology-rich facilities for UHart's growing programs in the College of Engineering, Technology, and Architecture; and the College of Education, Nursing and Health Professions. This interdisciplinary facility offers new and unique opportunities for collaboration and innovation between the health and engineering disciplines—meeting the demand for highly skilled professionals right here in Connecticut, across the country, and around the world.
      3. Motion Analysis Lab

        Motion Analysis Lab

        In our Motion Analysis Lab, physical therapy students and faculty conduct research with UHart’s Division I athletes to improve their performance. The lab is equipped with a 3D motion capture system that uses sensors attached to the athletes’ bodies to collect data.

        Physical Therapy Classrooms

        Our fully equipped physical therapy classrooms prepare students to practice in a variety of care settings.  The labs include video camera systems for recording and playback of classroom demonstrations.

      5. Charles A. Dana Hall (D)

        Dana Hall

        Charles A. Dana Hall is the centerpiece of our integrated science, engineering, and technology complex (ISET). Designed to encourage collaboration and interdisciplinary learning, the ISET complex has brought students from multiple academic disciplines together while promoting close student and faculty interactions. Dana Hall houses Mali Lecture Halls I and II; engineering and technology laboratories; classrooms; and faculty offices.

        Respiratory Simulation Laboratory

        Respiratory Therapy students can practice patient care skills in our simulation lab prior to starting their clinical rotations. The lab’s lifelike mannequins can blink, speak, cry, and simulate clinical situations.

      7. Radiologic Technology Laboratory

        Radiologic Technology Laboratory

        Our Radiologic Technology students can practice a variety of radiographic procedures and techniques in our fully energized x-ray laboratory.

      8. Anatomage Laboratory

        Anatomage Laboratory

        Our Anatomage table provides extremely detailed 3D images of the human body and is an advanced tool for teaching anatomy and physiology.

      9. Hillyer Hall (H)

        Hillyer Hall

        Hillyer Hall is one of the academic buildings on campus that students have many classes in. It houses the deans offices of the College of Arts and Sciences; the College of Education, Nursing and Health Professions; and Hillyer College. Building highlights include Auerbach Auditorium and the Shaw Center, featuring the multipurpose Regents Commons.

        Slobodkina Reading Room

        In the Reading Room, education students can explore and practice contemporary teaching methods.  The Reading Room contains a large collection of materials for early childhood and elementary education and touch-screen Smart boards.
