Lauinger Library is the main university library for undergraduate and graduate students as well as faculty and staff. Opened in 1970, the iconic Brutalist-style building provides access to services, resources, and spaces to further teaching and learning at Georgetown. The library provides research services to students and scholars, houses materials to support scholarship in all disciplines across the University, and makes available a wide variety of spaces for both group and individual study.
Lauinger is also home to the Booth Family Center for Special Collections, the Maker Hub, and the Woodstock Theological Library.
