The mission of the Office of Public Health is to protect and promote the health, well-being, and safety of the entire Georgetown University Community; to prevent and be prepared for public health emergencies. We monitor and manage communicable disease prevention, outbreaks and threats, and prepare for the next pandemic. Our team is the central hub for community support where we serve as an operations and information hub for any health related issues affecting the community. Understanding the big picture when we address the highest priority of public health issues for our community. We engage the community and improve public health conditions by coordinating and co-leading campus wide assessments and collaborative projects.
