CSUSM has invested in building green, sustainable buildings. The SBSB building is a LEED
(Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Silver Building.
Green features of the building include:
• Sustainable landscaping around the building
• During construction, 75% of the waste was diverted from the landfill
• Low flow faucets and dual flush toilets in the bathrooms
