      Opened in 1995, Lone Star College-Montgomery is a 365,000-square-foot comprehensive college on 210 acres of pine forest between The Woodlands and Conroe. Part of the fast-growing Lone Star College System, LSC-Montgomery enrolled more than 13,000 credit students for the fall 2015 semester. Additionally, more than 4,000 students take continuing education courses annually.

      12 Angry Jurors

      LSC–Montgomery Theatre Department Delivers Strong Start with Twelve Angry Jurors Performance

      The Lone Star College–Montgomery Department of Theatre proudly kicked off its fall semester with a compelling performance of Twelve Angry Jurors, held October 2–4, 2025, in the Performing Arts Center’s Mainstage Theatre. A complimentary dress rehearsal was offered on October 1, welcoming faculty, staff, students, and community members to preview the show.

      LSC-Montgomery Hosts Workshops for Students to Explore Academic Programs

      LSC-Montgomery invites all prospective students and current students to attend a series of Areas of Study Workshops designed to help them explore various academic programs and career paths. The workshops will be held at the Maverick Conference Center (MCC) and G102, providing attendees with a valuable opportunity to engage directly with faculty and staff.

      LSC-Montgomery’s Peyton Mattingly Joins Team Texas for Special Olympics USA Games

      Peyton Mattingly, a Lone Star College-Montgomery lifePATH® student, has been selected to represent Team Texas in golf at the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games. Mattingly is one of only two athletes chosen from across the state to compete in Level 5 Golf at the national event, which will be held in Minneapolis, Minnesota, from June 20-26, 2026.

      SWIRL Art Show 2024–2025 Celebrated Creativity and Community at LSC-Montgomery

      On September 18, 2025, Lone Star College–Montgomery proudly hosted its annual SWIRL Art Show, an inspiring celebration of student creativity showcased in the 2024–2025 SWIRL Literature and Arts Magazine. The event drew a large crowd to the campus gallery for an evening filled with poetry, prose, visual art, and photography.

      Lone Star College-Montgomery Remembers 9/11 Heroes with Patriot Day Challenge

      Lone Star College-Montgomery recently held a special event to remember and honor the heroes of September 11. This annual gathering, hosted by the Veteran Services and Fitness Center, brought the community together for the Patriot Day Challenge, a symbolic climb held in the campus parking garage.

      Dr. Reid-Hart

      College President

      Dr. De' Reese Reid-Hart is the fifth President of Lone Star College-Montgomery. Dr. Reid-Hart earned a Bachelor of Arts in English/ Pre-Law and a Master of Arts in Education Psychology, both from Eastern Illinois University. She holds a Doctoral degree in Education Leadership from National Louis University in Chicago.
