Learning Commons (LC)
The Learning Commons is a new mixed-use educational facility located on the lawn area north of Copley Library and to the west of Camino Hall. Design features include 24-hour study space, classrooms, coffee/snack service, and outdoor space. The building was designed and constructed to LEED silver standards, all while maintaining the existing Spanish Renaissance style. The goal for this space was to stimulate collaboration and social interaction in an effort to maximize the educational experience.
