The Tecolote Memorial Garden, located behind the Hahn University Center, is an intimate memorial garden honoring victims of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks in New York and Washington, D.C. Perennial plants native to the San Diego area are featured, as well as benches that surround a section of the ground decorated with a sunburst, similar in shape to a compass.
